Our People
The Foundation supports capital improvements and special projects at Shawano Medical Center. Past donations to the Foundation have helped to purchase laparoscopic surgery equipment, fund part of SMC's remodeling project, and purchase exercise equipment for the hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation program. The Foundation invests its donations and uses the interest for its donations, ensuring a lasting legacy of support for quality healthcare. The Foundation is supported by individual and business donations.
Individuals may join the Legacy Club with a $1,000 donation in cash or cash equivalent (will, life insurance bequest, stocks, etc.). You can also pledge your donation through the 250/4 program, which schedules your contribution into four annual $250 payments.
Other membership levels: $50,000 or more, Harry Meyer Platinum Award; $25,000, Dr. Roger Cantwell Gold Award; $15,000 Silver membership; $5,000 Bronze membership.
Business membership levels: $5,000, Legacy Club; $10,000, Bronze membership; $15,000, Silver membership; $25,000 Dr. Roger Cantwell Gold membership; and $50,000 or more, Harry Meyer Platinum membership.
